She sat there on the floor, legs crossed, head tilted to the side in a lazy way. She was gazing at a magazine, absent mindedly petting her kitten. He smiled faintly as she felt the cat's sides vibrate from her soft purring. She turned the page, her wings fluttering uselessly. What a day this was. Raina had become quite bored.
Half listening to the people around her, she continues reading her magazine. Every now and then she would hear snide marks made by the other students. A cross look appeared on her face. Of course they would say that. Her attire consisted of jeans, a shirt, and converse. Oh, let's not forgot the hot pink and silver hat which hides her long blue/black hair. She did this on purpose, but it shouldn't matter to others.
"You people are a disgrace. Going to call me gay for the way I dress? What a sterotypical move, people," she said, morely to herself. Looking around, she realised she was alone now. That was good. Raina could be Raina now.
"Isn't that right, Lucifer? Are they to call a little guy like me gay because of the way I look?"

But she wasn't alone. There was still another girl in the room. This girl's name was Natalie, and she was very quiet. It wasn't unusual for people to miss her when they did a head count. She was even more quiet now than she had been before. She was like a ghost, or maybe a shadow. People never noticed her. Even if she did speak up, they usually just ignored her.
Natalie didn't like the way the other students were talking to the girl with the magazine. She'd seen it happen a few times. They called her names because of the way she dressed. Each time Natalie wanted to stand up and say something about it, but she never did because she was too shy. People made fun of her a lot too, if they noticed her. They laughed at her because she was so quiet. Because she was a nobody.
Once the other students had left, though, she worked up a little courage and spoke to the girl. "They're rude, you shouldn't listen to them," she said quietly, never looking up. She just stared down at the floor like she usually did.

She probably wouldn't have noticed the girl if Lucifer hadn't of started to hiss, obviously noticing the girl before Raina could have. She leaned her head back, her veiw half way upside down and half way normal. A smal grin curved her lips. Raina patted Lucifer and made a soft cooing sound
She turned around and looked at the quiet girl. Raina tilted her head to the side in a quizical nature. "You seem to be one the few people to realise I'm a girl. The way I dress, and my origin, people think of me as a little boy...Thanks for realising the real me, Miss..."

Natalie saw that the girl looked surprised when she spoke to her. "You seem to be one the few people to realize I'm a girl. The way I dress, and my origin, people think of me as a little boy..." That's what the girl said. Natalie just shrugged and smiled a small smile, glad to have been noticed for once. Then again, it was hard not to notice her when there was no one else in the room but the two of them. It was also easier to talk that way. She didn't have to worry about what everyone thought about her. Natalie never liked groups much, they always intimidated her.
"Thanks for realizing the real me, miss..." This made Natalie's smile grow a little wider. She liked helping people. Whenever she made someone feel better, it made her happy. She didn't really care about her own happiness, she always put others first. It didn't matter much if she knew them or not, or whether the were a mean person or a nice person, helping someone always made her feel... well, useful. Like she actually mattered.
"It's obvious to me you're not a boy," Natalie said, glancing up for the first time. She pushed her light brown hair away from her face and dared look over at the girl. "Oh... and my name is Natalie," she added. "Natalie White."

Raina took one full sweep of the girls appearence. She definantly looked shy, timid. This was definantly a character foil. A shy girl in the same room with a hyper active girl. That was one huge character foil there. Raina rocked back and forth on her heels for a few moments untill the girl finally spoke.
"It's obvious to me you're not a boy," she had said. Raina giggled quietly and ceased rocking back and forth. "You would be surprised how many think differently," Raina said with a cute smile.
"Oh... and my name is Natalie," she added. "Natalie White." Raina jumped to her feet after the girls introduction. She curtseyed and removed her hat, black and blue curls tumbling down in the process. "Nice to meet you! I am Raina Montgomery".
